Dr. KHIM Leang earned his PhD degree in 2005 in Biotechnological Research and Development from Ehime University in Japan where he spent 6 years, and then worked for 4.5 years (2005-2009) in the United Kingdom as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. He started his work at Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) in 2010 as the Manager of Business Training Department, and currently is the Director of the center and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Royal University of Phnom Penh. In addition to his research skills, he has broadened his leadership and managerial horizons in both academia and business through his active direct involvements in diverse activities and trainings including Leadership, HR Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Process Improvement, Total Quality Management and Knowledge Management and so on. With his rich academic and career background, he has much interest in sharing and exchanging his experiences and knowledge with the single aim of contributing to the capacity building and human resource development.

Mr. MASUDA Chikahiro was dispatched by the JICA as the Chief Advisor to the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) in July 2023. After graduating from university in 1988, Mr. Masuda gained five years of practical experience in an IT company before joining the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers and starting his career in international cooperation at a technical college in Malaysia. Since joining JICA in 1997, he has been consistently building his career in international cooperation for over 25 years, mainly focusing on economic and social development. He has recognized the potential of international cooperation through business activities and obtained an MBA in 2021. He has experience working abroad in Malaysia, Cambodia, and Vietnam, and this is his second assignment in Cambodia.

Ms. SHIMIZU Honami has been working as a JICA expert on business Networking at the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) since March 2024. Ms. Shimizu engaged in administrative roles such as general affairs, human resources, and accounting at a Japanese telecommunication company after graduating from the School of Law at Waseda University. In 2020, she obtained a master's degree in Social Development at the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom. After that, she worked at the Economic Development Department of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and launched and managed the Japan Center’s projects in Mongolia and Laos, as well as projects supporting migrant workers from Asian countries to Japan in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Nepal.

A holder of MED in Leadership and Management from Pannasatra University of Cambodia, Mr. Vanna has been well-trained in Transformational Coaching, Leadership and Management for Professionals, and Japanese-Style Management in Japan. He is a trained professional coach, and he is a qualified and certified trainer in business strategic management and human resource development from ReloExcel, Inc., and JICA. He is also a certified business mentor by Impact Hub and UNDP and a business development service provider by UNIDO. Mr. Vanna has had more than sixteen-year experience in management and leadership, and has given lectures and training on various courses associated with educational development and business leadership, and management. His management career development is quite interesting as he has advanced through different senior positions in a short period of time. For only five years, he has moved up from a supervisor of schools to the Managing Director of schools. During the last sixteen years, he has helped staff more productive and engaged in their personal and professional lives by using varieties of effective motivation and coaching methods. Currently, Mr. Vanna is the Senior Manager in charge of Human Resource Development for SMEs in the area of corporate training courses, business start-up and acceleration program. He is also a leadership and management trainer-coach for Professionals of Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC).

Ms. SEU Siphan obtained a Bachelor’s Degree as a scholarship student in Sociology from the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) in 2012 and an Intensive Master of Business Administration (I-MBA) from the International University of Japan (IUJ) in 2018. She has been working at CJCC since 2010. Throughout her journey with CJCC, she gained a lot of experiences in different scopes of works including management skills and presently, she is a Secretary-General of Cambodia-Japan Association for Business and Investment (CJBI).

Ms. SON Sreysour graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Management in 2025 from the Department of Media and Communication. During her studies, she gained practical experience as a Marketing Intern, and later she worked in an administrative role at CJBI/CJCC. After graduation, she joined CJBI/CJCC as a Business Service & Networking Staff, supporting training programs and events through participant communication, logistics coordination, and overall operations. She also assisted with design and sales activities, further strengthening her skills in visual communication and customer relations.

Mr. MIYAJIMA Shinya majored in international economics at Teikyo University and graduated in 2022. In his second year of college, he came to Cambodia as an exchange student. After graduating from university, he participated in the Japanese Language Educationn Program of Japan Foundation (Nihongo Partners), and was involved in Japanese language education and cultural introduction at local public high schools in Indonesia. Since August 2023, he has been working as a PR Marketing and Japan Desk staff at the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC), and is also involved in the operation of CJBI.
