The Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) recommended owners of local small and medium-sized firms (SMEs) learn and follow legal export procedures as a way to accelerate the procedure and eliminate compliance concerns. The meeting’s purpose was to assist Cambodian SMEs and stakeholders who expressed their experiences, opinions, and concerns in the field, to provide good tips on how to gather information and export effectively, and to add those tax procedures accounted for the majority of the issues raised, the chamber’s director-general Nguon Meng Tech said. According to Oknha Keo Mom, CEO of Ly Ly Food Industry Co., Ltd. most SMEs lack a clear grasp of workflow management and regulatory procedures which leads to these export barriers and complexities.
