According to the report of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Cambodia exported more than 2.06 million tonnes of milled and paddy rice worth over $616 million in the first half of 2022, up to 4.41% by volume and 19.18% by value year on year. Based on data from the National Phytosanitary Database, paddy shipments to Vietnam were 1,733,157 tonnes, up 2.38 percent year on year from 1,692,813 tonnes, valued at $336,232,458, up 20.38 percent from $279,314,145 in January-June 2021. Additionally, milled rice exports reached 327,200 tonnes, up 16.67% year-on-year from 280,450 tonnes, for a total of $279,756,000, up 17.77% from $237,541,150 in January-June 2021.
