According to a senior official of the firm, Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (Royal Group PPSEZ) has accomplished exceptional growth to $492.7 million between January-July this year, a 26 percent increase over the same period last year. Eumatsu Hiroshi, CEO of Royal Group PPSEZ said that the industrial park firm has grown due to an increase in exports from the zone, mostly to Japan, the United States, and Thailand, which rose 42.9 percent compare to the same period last year. This increase is mostly due to the development of automotive and electronic parts industries, as well as a large investment by Marvel Garment Co., Ltd. which is a subsidiary of the largest vertically integrated knitwear manufacturer in China.
