The Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia, a good partner with The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in promoting investment activities between Cambodia and Japan, recently established the Cambodian Private Trade Center in Atsugi city to exhibit and promote Cambodian products and places for Japanese investors to find information about laws and regulations of Cambodian-Japanese investment. Through Cambodian-Japanese cooperation, the Ministry of Commerce reported that Bilateral Trade volume between Cambodia and Japan reached more than $1.7 billion in 2021, including trades of garments, footwear, bags, automobiles, machinery, electronics, food and beverages. Furthermore, in the meeting between the JETRO delegation and the Cambodian Minister of Commerce on 30th 2022, Japanese businessmen and investors are looking for more investment opportunities for setting up companies in Cambodia which will increase trade activities between the two countries.
