Ministry warns against unlicensed tourism businesses

The Ministry of Tourism has noted that unlicensed tourism firms have become an issue and has issued a warning that those who continue to operate these operations without licenses risk legal repercussions. The ministry advised people who are operating as tour guides or travel agencies without a license and publicizing their services on social media to apply for tourist licenses at the Ministry of Tourism or the Departments of Tourism in the capital of their provinces, or they can apply directly via the online platform. The owners or managers of hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, tourist resorts, travel transportation companies, airline ticket companies, and all tour guides were also instructed not to sign agreements for the supply of tourist services, cooperate with any tour operator or travel agency, or permit anyone operating an unlicensed tourist business to purchase tickets.
