Cambodia’s total trade up 9% to $52 billion in 2022

In 2022, Cambodia’s international trade ended in a total increase 9.2 percent from the year of 2021. Whereas, the export sector grows more potential in foreign markets, the world is facing an unusual situation. The increase rank in export sector was because of Cambodia’s full application of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), the Free Trade Agreement between China, and trade preferences in the EU and US markets. “ The garment sector is a potential role of the Kingdom as it generated prosperous income for national economy and keep providing labor work to our local people” a state mentioned by senior economist Ky Sereyvath.
