Touch Chankosal, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation (MPWT) met with Nippon Koei experts lead by Hirotoshi Suziki. The purpose of this meeting was to study the presentation of Nippon Koei’s expert on the project to improve the railway passenger system in three areas of the northern railway, including: Battambang, Serei Sophorn, and Poipet. At the same time, this project also includes the feasibility of constructing a city railway in Phnom Penh. He was also glad that the company shared about the project, which aims to improve the existing rail support system.
