Cambodia planned to increase its Growth Domestic Product (GDP) by 6.6 percent in 2023. Because of all the hard work done by the government to maintain the socio-economic balance, the economy has quickly rebounded, as claimed by Prime Minister Hun Sen. Moreover, according to Meas Soksensa, MEF’s spokesman said that the government has put more measures this year to strengthen Cambodia’s economy and minimize the impacts of external factors consisting of Russia-Ukraine war, the Taiwan crisis, geopolitical, economic, and climate crises. In the further future, Cambodia prospected to be recognized as an upper-middle-income economy by 20230 and high-income economy by 2050.
