Jan-Apr Japan trade down a tenth on-year as surplus climbs by 19%

According to provisional Customs (GDCE) data, the trade value between Cambodia and Japan decreased from $635.613 million to $573.101 in the first four months of 2023. Lim Heng, vice-president of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce stated that Japan continues to be one of the top export partners for the Kingdom, and Cambodian products also have a potential market there. Additionally, he suggested that we must also focus on the quality and packaging of our products to meet the high standard living of Japanese.
