A $300 million tire factory is expected to be operational in Sihanoukville by the end of this month under the supervision of Kuoch Chamroeun, the governor of Sihanoukville. The factory is scheduled to be officially open on May 22nd under the highest of Prime Minister Hun Sen and also to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone (SSEZ). The May 22nd event is going to be celebrated under the three main goals: 1) orient the employees with the needs of the company 2) visit the exhibition of SSEZ to observe the productivity and quality3) focus on the opening of the largest car tire factory in Sihanoukville.
