The ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) has called for boosting trade and investment with Japan. Chair of ASEAN-BAC Arsjad Rasjid mentioned that the close partnership between ASEAN and Japan over the past 50 years will elevate the economic integration and the establishment of a free trade area, and achieve competitiveness in the global market. As an ASEAN strategic partner, Japan will work together with ASEAN-BAC to create a stronger platform that supports micro, small, and medium enterprise to innovate and adapt to dynamic changes of technology, he continued.
