Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that process food and beverages from raw materials of agriculture to finished products have grown significantly. ‘The wide range of agricultural raw materials in Cambodia makes it easier for SMEs to enter the industry and produce finished goods’’, said Taing Por, President of the Federation of Associations for Small and Medium Enterprises of Cambodia (FASMEC). Since micro, small, and medium enterprises are interactive, adaptable and responsive to technological advancement, it has played a significant role in socio-economic growth serving as the cornerstone for the national economic and social development.
