The new Royal Government of Cambodia pledges to bring new investments, create more jobs, and foster economic development. Heng Sokkung, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, asserted that the country has become more attractive to investors due to political stability, bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements and a new investment law. The Vice-President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, Lim Heng also shared his perspective on the potential for investment in the nation: “the existing trade pacts as well as new free trade agreements provide more momentum in attracting investment in the years to come.’’
