According to the General Department of Customs and Excise, Cambodian international trade totaled more than $35.16 billion in the first nine months of 2023, indicating a 3.5 percent decrease from the same period the previous year. The country exported $16.94 billion to foreign markets from January to September, while imports dropped 5.9% to $18.21 billion. The main exports include garments, machinery, footwear, leather goods, and textiles. In 2022, Cambodia exported $22.4 billion and imported $29.9 billion.
