In the first phase of the Online Business Registration System, also known as the Single Portal under the Ministry of Economy and Finance, 29,837 enterprises in Cambodia have registered with $8.76 billion in investment capital. With almost $1.09 billion, the construction industry was the largest, followed by hospitality services and real estate at $943 million and $938 million, subsequently. Manufacturing, finance, insurance, and management consulting are among further industries. The system has made it easier to establish private sector enterprises in Cambodia by streamlining processes and saving money and time.
