In the first nine months of 2023, Cambodia received 3.92 million international tourists, a 211% increase over the previous year. Meanwhile, 1.34 million international tourists arrived in Cambodia by air, an increase of 186%, and 2.58 million arrived by land and water, an increase of 224%. The Ministry of Tourism is expected to reach at least 5 million international tourists this year, with more tourists expected to visit after the opening of Siem Reap Angkor International Airport.
