Cambodia’s clean energy drive attracts $65.5 Million investment for 60 MW solar power plant

Cambodia invests in clean and renewable energy projects to reduce fossil fuel emissions and decrease electricity prices. The country's progress in the electricity sector, with more than 60% coming from renewable sources, entices international investment. In Svay Rieng province, the Council for the Development of Cambodia approved a $65.5 million investment for a 60-megawatt solar power plant. In order to promote sustainable economic growth, the government strives for a power supply that is reliable, affordable, high-quality, and sustainable.
