Cambodia’s agricultural exports earned nearly $4 billion in January- November

In the period from January to November of this year, Cambodia earned approximately $4.2 billion in revenue by exporting 7.3 million tonnes of agricultural products, as stated in the report by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. Cambodia's main agricultural exports included rice, bananas, mangoes, cassava, cashew nuts, corn, palm oil, pepper, and tobacco. Agriculture is one of the four major economic pillars in Cambodia’s economy, plays a crucial role in contributing 22 percent to the country's GDP in 2022 and providing employment to 2.6 million people in the sector, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization.
