Cambodia's Minister of Labour and Vocational Training, Heng Sour, has called for all labor-sector stakeholders to collaborate to improve the industrial relations sector and maintain Cambodia's status as an attractive investment destination. He emphasized how crucial it is for employers, unions, and partner organizations to work together to advance labor relations and uphold current laws. In order to preserve a competitive edge and draw in investment, he also urged conference attendees to comprehend the necessity for the government to anticipate regional competitiveness. In order to improve industrial relations, he also highlighted the significance of bolstering labor inspectors and raising public confidence. The goal of the government's vocational and technical training program for the seventh mandate is to train 1.5 million young people who are in vulnerable situations.
