On March 29, 2024, CJBI has successfully conducted the Fiscal Year 2023 with the support of Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC). The event included a special panel discussion under the topic “Building a Successful Business Partnership Between Cambodia and Japan: Best Practices and Preparations” given by CJBI Members including, Mr. OL Tola, the Chief Operation Officer of Misota Import Export Co., Ltd, and Mr. THEL Veasna, the Food Line Merchandising Senior Manager of AEON.

During this session, the speakers revealed their story of their collaboration with the support of CJBI. This served as a guideline for the attendees who are interested in partnering with Japanese companies and a platform for them to connect with each other and discover their potential business partners.

In closing remarks, H.E. Dr. MEY Kalyan, the Chairman of CJBI, highlighted the advantages of business partnerships between Cambodian and Japanese companies. He suggested that more panel discussions like this should be held as it promotes interaction among the local companies and draws Japanese companies’ attention to Cambodia’s developing business landscape.

The event was wrapped up with a dinner gathering session where participants could further connect and converse.
