As of 2024, the country boasts over 580,000 hectares of cashew plantations, yielding an average of 1.5 tonnes per hectare. According to the latest CAC reports, in the first 10 months of 2024 alone, Cambodia produced over 840,000 tonnes of raw cashew nuts, a whopping 26 percent increase, making it the world’s second-largest exporter of cashews.
