


On June 23, 2021, a joint cooperation between three Japan Centers namely Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC), Laos-Japan Institute (LJI), and Vietnam-Japan Institute for Human Resource Development (VJCC) with CJBI as co-organizer as well as Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Cambodia Women Entrepreneurs Association (CWEA) as supporters, hosted the Seminar on Japan’s Longevity Company - the Secret to Overcoming the Crisis and Continuing Corporate Activities.
For this seminar, we were honored to have Mr. YAMAMOTO Masahito, CEO of the Taneya Group-confectionery company, as the first guest speaker. In this seminar, Mr. YAMAMOTO shared some important points such as the secrets of how Taneya Group has survived and developed for 149 years, motivations to modernize confectionary business, and strategies to overcome Covid-19 crisis.
There were around 200 participants and 68 of which were from Cambodia.
