The Royal Government is considering transforming inter-provincial tourist routes into clusters of core and primary destinations, linking the Siem Reap-Angkor region with neighbouring provinces such as Kampong Thom, Preah Vihear, Oddar Meanchey, Banteay Meanchey, and Battambang to promote travel among international visitors, domestic tourists, and foreign residents in Cambodia.
