The Royal Government has set its sights on transforming Svay Rieng province into a major economic hub in Cambodia’s southeast, with a new plan to align land management and urban planning with regional economic corridors.
Svay Rieng is home to 13 special economic zones, with 12 already in operation. Together, they host 1,063 factories and enterprises, generating employment for more than 142,000 people.
