Dr. Kun Nhem, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister and Director General of the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia, said on February 12, 2026 that the closure of the land border with Thailand did not cause Cambodia to lack goods or increase inflation, especially the ban on importing fuel from Thailand.
