The delegation of Japan-based FORVAL Corporation paid a courtesy call on Cambodian Minister of Commerce Pan Sorasak, along with H.E Katsuhiro Shinohara, former Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia and President of Cambodia International Education Supporting Foundation, during which the company expressed its intention to contribute to the development of SMEs in Cambodia and committed to expand its business activities in the country by encouraging more Japanese investors to invest in Cambodia. Minister of Commerce Pan Sorasak requested FORVAL to study the possibility to expand its business and investment in the kingdom and also asked for support from H.E. Shinohara and other Japanese private sectors to establish more free trade agreements for the common interests of both countries. Both sides showed a strong commitment to promote business and investment activities in order to boost trade and economic growth of both nations (Vy, 2022).
