Cambodia exports footwear, socks, related products and other parts accounted for $702.06 million, equal 7.5 percent of the total export value for the period, according to the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia (GDCE). The effective control of Covid-19 together with favorable conditions set by the Cambodian investment legal framework helped to stabilize manufacturing sector during the pandemic, stated by Lim Heng, Vice-president of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce. As reported by GDCE, the total exports of footwear, socks, and related products amounted to $1.39221 billion, an increase of 23.98 percent from $1.12294 billion in 2020.
