Lotus Broadcasting Services (Lotus) organized a workshop at Romdoul Village Resort on techniques to become wealthy by applying Buddha dharma core principles in people’s daily life and business activities. One of the workshop's speakers was Dr. Ieng Sotheara, a notable Cambodian businessman who practices Buddha dharma in his business, and the president of the Cambodia-Japan Association for Business and Investment (CJBI). Dr. Sotheara mentioned that people who desire to be affluent must follow the four core principles of Buddha dharma such as working hard to get wealth, retaining acquired wealth, making excellent friends or partners, and allocating the wealth wisely. H.E Mey Kalyan, a senior advisor to the Supreme National Economic Council (SNEC), stated in the workshop that despite his skill and experience, he has acquired, comprehended, and practiced Buddha dharma admirably, so entrepreneurs must understand the philosophical notion to attain success in the actual world of business.
